Day 125 Låpsley – Falling Short (The UK Blog Sound of 2015 Special)

Blog Sound Of 2015Shrugging-off all the competition, talented young electronic songwriter and producer Låpsley was yesterday announced as the winner of the coveted UK Blog Sound Of 2015 sound-poll. Also nominated for the BBC Sound Of 2015 award (results will follow next week), classically trained musician Låpsley aka. Holly Lapsley Fletcher first gained widespread notoriety within the blogging community at the beginning of 2014 with her bedroom demo Station, a stunning, forward-thinking number that helped her sign to her now-label XL Recordings. With her debut EP out on Monday, today’s track of the day is Falling Short, a delicate, soulful number that is a beautiful representation of what Låpsley’s music is all about.
