Day 93 Coasts – Lions (The UK Blog Sound of 2015 Special)

Blog Sound Of 2015For the second year running, I have been honoured with the chance to vote in the UK Blog Sound Of 2015 poll. Following the unveiling of the BBC Sound Of 2015 long-list yesterday, a smaller, UK blogging contingency organised by fellow blogger Breaking More Waves have once again offered up a terrific, 15-artist-long-list of their favourite up-and-coming acts for 2015. Chosen irrespective of their chances of commercial success, I’m delighted to say that this years long-list features two of my three poll votes, Flyte and Shura. Having been blown away by both acts live sets (after catching them both for the first times on consecutive nights at the beginning of November), I can say with all seriousness that both artists are (in my eyes) stand-out favourites to be huge success stories in the months and years to come. As for the rest of the list, quite surprisingly, only two other artists (Coasts and Lapsley) have featured on this blog before, with the rest of the artists music either not to my taste, or completely unknown to me at all (Halfrican & All We Are). To find out loads more information about the poll itself and to listen to a cracking poll playlist, make sure you visit Breaking More Waves; and in the meantime, why not sit back and relax with poll nominee Coasts’ wonderful new track Lions.

*The act who gained the most amount of points in the poll will be announced on January 2nd 2015.
