Day 42 Dan Croll – Can You Hear Me [Short Live Review]

Dan Croll - Can You Hear Me

Dan Croll’s From Nowhere was the second track I ever blogged on mydaybydaymusic, so it was incredibly gratifying to finally see him perform in the flesh last night in Oxford. Following a special show at London’s KOKO the night before, Croll and his backing band took the markedly smaller, yet jam-packed venue by storm, performing a mini greatest hits set to an incredibly receptive Saturday night crowd. Performing with an infectious confidence, Croll excelled as an out-and-out performer. Faultless musically, his kind, friendly persona also did his name a lot of credit, ensuring that every attendee left the gig with a smile on their face. Knowing only a handful of Croll’s singles before entering, it was really nice to discover a number of brand new album tracks I’d never heard before, including today’s Track Of The Day, Can You Hear Me, one of the most beautiful and intense live tracks of the night. You can download Dan Croll’s debut album ‘Sweet Disarray‘ now.
