Hello everyone from Glastonbury!!!!!!!!! (Ok, this is actually a scheduled post written earlier this week, but technically I am there right now, how exciting!) In respect for the festival and tonight’s headliners, it is only appropriate that I feature Arctic Monkeys’ brand new single, Do I Wanna Know? Dark, moody and R U Mine? esque, Do I Wanna Know? revolves brilliantly round a huge guitar riff that will strike a chord in pretty much any rock-lovers heart and soul (or ears). This massive riff is then played off by Alex Turner who’s retro swagger permeates the vocals and entire track brilliantly. This track is huge.
