Day 139 Fyfe – Solace

Music arriving in my inbox can often be slightly dubious, however occasionally a real gem presents itself on a plate, willing to prick those ‘next big thing’ senses that a music blogger has engrained somewhere in their brain. Arriving on said plate this morning is Londoner Fyfe’s debut track, Solace, a chilled-out slice of shimmering electro-pop. With wonderfully thought out instrumental accompaniment from flutes, synth choirs, a staple drum beat and a bold guitar line, Solace‘s sparse backing allows Fyfe’s wonky vocal line to shine through with a captivating charm.
