Fuzzy and warm, Pacific Air’s Roses is a classy and cheerful piece of West Coast American surfer influenced indie-pop that is bucket loads of fun. Listening closely, Roses has a lot going for it within the summer/surfer genre. Opening with a topsy-turvy flute (???) line the song opens up to offer a groovy bass line, some luscious sun-drenched lyrics and vocals, twangy guitars drenched in reverb, a stunning female soloist section and some oh ah chorus members that further pile the summer cheer upon the listener. I like it a lot.
